• 30 Years of The Sugar Club – The Celebration of an Industry Icon Peter Gordon – Che Barrington (Woodpecker Hill, The Blue Breeze Inn), Pip Wylie (Onslow), Neil Brazier & Peter Gordon (The Sugar Club)
Saturday 19th November, 5.30pm – 9.30pm. LAST TABLES REMAINING

Each of the exclusive experiences will last about 90 minutes then guests can utilise the luxurious Taste Hospitality facilities to use as a base to enjoy of the rest of the festival. Each experience will include:

• Ayala Champagne and canapes on arrival
• Menu of world class dishes created and introduced by three of our hottest chefs
• Each dish expertly matched to a fine wine or cocktail
• Artisan cheese to finish
• $50 of TSB Crowns (event currency) to spend within the event
• Unlimited access to the Hospitality Marquee and the rest of the Taste of Auckland Festival
• Complimentary bar service throughout your Taste session

• Additional GA festival tickets

Culinary Innovation Collaboration – NZ vs AUS

Headlining – Rockpool (AUS), Roots Christchurch

In a New Zealand first we bring one of Australia’s most awarded restaurants to Taste of Auckland.  Join this Innovation Collaboration where we’ll indulge in an avant-garde menu from Australasian chefs who are at the top of their game and are constantly challenging culinary boundaries. 2015 Cuisine Magazine Restaurant of the Year Roots from Christchurch will be representing New Zealand and showcasing the best of kiwi cuisine on a plate.  This will be a spectacular culinary event where guests will enjoy the best of best.

Viva Champagne Lunch

Headlining – Nic & Kelly Watt, Nick Honeyman and Adriano Zumbo

Viva Champagne Lunch guests are in for an extra special treat! Adriano Zumbo, arguably Australasia’s most celebrated patissier and star of “Zumbo’s Just Desserts” will be showcasing his Parisian training and love affair with confectionery by creating a decadent bespoke dessert for lucky patrons to enjoy.  He will be accompanied by top New Zealand restaurateurs, Nic & Kelly Watt of True Food & Yoga and Nick Honeyman of Paris Butter who will preparing beautiful dishes that will be matched with different styles of Champagne AYALA. Each guest will also receive a generous gift bag at this most fashionable of summer lunches. All guests receive a premium goodie bag filled with delicious treats from around the festival to take home.

30 Years of The Sugar Club – The Celebration of an Industry Icon

Headlining – Peter Gordon, Che Barrington, Pip Wylie & Neil Brazier

This incredibly epic tribute dinner is a celebration to recognise Peter Gordon’s momentous contribution to the global food scene.  This year marks the 30th anniversary of the original restaurant The Sugar Club opening in Wellington.  Peter will be joined in the kitchen by former chefs from the establishment’s various NZ and UK incarnations: Che Barrington (The Blue Breeze Inn and Woodpecker Hill) and Pip Wylie (Onslow Bar & Eatery), Neil Brazier (The Sugar Club, Sky City Auckland).  Don’t miss out on a fabulous night of entertainment, laughs and spectacular food.
