Taste of Auckland will showcase 15 of the city's best restaurants.

The greatest Menu in New Zealand
We set up full professional kitchens in the middle of Victoria Park and the participating restaurant chefs will prepare 3 of their signature dishes in tapas sized servings. As a visitor to the event you can taste all the new summer menus from the most renowned chefs of Auckland - for a fraction of the normal price. Over 40 signature dishes will be on offer! This is your chance to try all the top restaurants in one day and decide where your next dinner out will be.

Great Chefs Kitchen with Dine Aid
The Great Chefs Kitchen is headed up by renowned chef Mark Gregory and over the 4 days of the festival it will host a selection of Great Chefs from around the country. What's better than multiple chefs from top restaurants working together in the same kitchen? The proceeds all go to Dine Aid - to help those in need of a "helping hand" see www.dineaid.org.nz

At the Great Chef's Kitchen this year you can taste signature dishes from Mollies, Two Fifteen & Sidart.

What's a Crown?
The food and drink you purchase at Taste of Auckland to eat at the festival will be bought in "Crowns" - the Taste currency. One Crown = $1 and each restaurant dish will cost around 12 Crowns. Drinks will be available at bar prices. If you are buying larger purchases  to take home with you from some of the festival exhibitors (eg a case of Nautilus Cuvee Malborough Brut or some Seriously Good Chocolate), then cash, credit cards and eftpos will be accepted.
