We’ve challenged pop-up kings William Cook and Carlo Buenaventura of The Cult Project to present a quintessential NZ kitchen at the festival – a true taste of Aotearoa! The Eat NZ Kitchen is the ultimate collaboration where William and Carlo will be joined by chefs and hospitality personalities from around the country to utilize the freshest of kiwi produce and offer their interpretation of what great NZ food is all about.

What is The Cult Project? A pop-up restaurant that has appeared around the country creating special events in top restaurants as well as at big festivals including Auckland Restaurant Month and Wellington on a Plate. They have even staged a 3-month residency at Racket in Roukai Lane, Britomart. Cooking food that’s heavily focused on the diverse local Auckland food scene, taking influence from their chef’s cultural heritage and inspiration from their surroundings, their food is not limited to a specific style or flavour, rather thought provoking, generous and delicious.

Eat New Zealand is an organization dedicated to furthering the success of the New Zealand food scene. It is fueled by the collective passion of people within the industry with an annual symposium and some big projects under development. Each dish purchased at the Eat NZ Kitchen will not only be a delicious experience but will help to further the promotion of NZ Food.
