It all started when Sergio Maglione first arrived in New Zealand more than 20 years ago. As a young, fresh-faced pizza chef from Italy, he dreamed of bringing the street food of his beloved birth city with him.
Italy is a city that lives on the streets, and communicates through gloriously simple fresh food. Sergio has brought that passion, community, and wholesomeness to his eateries in Auckland; many will know of his co-ownership of the iconic Toto’s.
The dream has only got better since the dawn of his latest foodie endeavour with old friend Mike Ross. Farina offers up a plethora of to-die-for plates and ingredients, including (of course) Toto’s pizza, sardines, eggplant parmigiano, a daily ragu, and skewered meats cooked over charcoal.
