Big, playful, with tons of attitude, and that’s just the food. The team at Miss Clawdy will be serving up their full flavoured favourites inspired by the American South, featuring subtle fusions across Mexican, Argentinian and Caribbean fare.

Bustling since its launch nearly two years ago in the Wynyard Quarter precinct, Miss Clawdy springs from a lineage of hospitality veterans. Led by Tom and Jeff Wiley, sons of Belinda and Dennis Wiley (Shorebird, Hammerheads, Sausalito, Mink Cafe, Vivo and Squid Row), the family founded Miss Clawdy’s fundamental concept in select Melbourne and Sydney eateries, where people waited patiently for their food, abandoning their phones in favour of some real communication and connection.

With a focus on good, wholesome, slow food, the Miss Clawdy aims to produce an atmosphere where people can eat happily, unwind, and truly engage with each other. Named after Lloyd Price’s 1952 hit Lawdy Miss Clawdy, the restaurant is notoriously warm, hospitable, and in high demand – count yourself lucky to get a table, what with over two thousand people known to pass through the doors each week.
